Also known as Durif. It is a grape known for its complexity in flavors as well as complexity in fermentation if not attended to with a watchful eye.  This deep red dry wine has a tight tannin structure with beautiful flavor notes of black current, red plum, a little blueberry tartness and a hint of pepper.  It has been aged in 2 year old American oak barrels for 11 months.

Pair with: Strong cheeses or grilled beef, pork loin and game dishes
