This popular grape is a cross between Cabernet Franc (red) and Sauvignon Blanc (white) and is known for its thick skins and hardy wine. Its heritage is 17th century Bordeaux, France. This vintage is aged in American oak barrels for 18 months and boasts some tannins with aromas of black currant, dark bing cherries, and a hint of bell pepper.

Pair with: Steak, ribs, sausages, grilled tuna, beef stew and of course chocolate.
